Expansion of partner ecosystem boosts SSO capabilities and further enforces multi-factor authentication
Huddle is expanding its Single Sign On (SSO) capabilities and enterprise-grade security features via a series of new partnerships with leading SSO providers OneLogin, Centrify, Okta and Ping Identity. Already offering its customers SSO capabilities, utilizing the SAML 2.0 web standard, Huddle’s latest integrations will provide additional enterprise-grade multi-factor authentication as well as SSO on our desktop and mobile applications.
With organizations across the globe now demanding technology that is intuitive and easy to deploy to office workers, many want to be able to use existing Active Directory credentials rather than roll-out a series of new logins and passwords. By joining forces with OneLogin, Centrify, Okta and Ping Identity, Huddle enables IT departments to seamlessly implement identity management across the enterprise and consolidate users’ application logins. This results in improved user satisfaction, regulatory compliance and operating efficiency, as well as reduced IT operating and development costs.
“Today, organizations are constantly trying to balance the needs of business users with IT security requirements,” explains Andy McLoughlin, EVP Strategy, Huddle. “By teaming up with these fantastic SSO providers, we’re not only extending our security credentials and further enforcing multi-factor authentication, but making life easier for office workers who are constantly faced with the challenge of remembering numerous usernames and passwords.”
“Huddle is continuing to push the envelope in security with these new partnerships with cloud and mobile identity providers,” states Jim Lundy, CEO and Lead Analyst, Aragon Research. “SSO capabilities provide IT departments with peace of mind when it comes to security but also save office workers from password fatigue. Huddle has balanced the security requirements of enterprise and government organizations with the end user experience.”
Huddle’s new SSO partnerships continue the significant growth of the organization’s partner ecosystem. Earlier this year, Huddle announced its partnership with Triad Technology Partners, which has resulted in Triad offering Huddle’s cloud content collaboration service for the US Federal Government through its GSA Schedule. In addition, Huddle also has partnership with leading UK reseller Softcat to expand the delivery of its service across UK enterprises.
